The 2022-2023 college basketball season hasn’t officially ended yet, but the post-season madness has already begun. The transfer portal is wide open, and the Crimson Tide have been frequent users of this resource under Nate Oats to land guys like Jahvon Quinerly and Nimari Burnett.
Alabama will lose Brandon Miller to the NBA draft and a few guys to the transfer portal as well so the roster next year will of course look a bit different. The Tide reportedly are heavily interested in Tulane guard Jalen Cook. Cook played the first year of his career with the LSU Tigers before spending the next two with the Green Waves. This season Cook averaged 19.9 PPG, 4.9 APG and 2.9 RPG on 45% from the field.
Tulane transfer Jalen Cook tells me that he's receiving interest from the following programs:
LSU
Kansas
Gonzaga
Kansas State
Oklahoma
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Illinois
Ole Miss
TCU
Washington
Washington State
Memphis
Pitt
Minnesota
Xavier
Mississippi State
UCF
Oklahoma State— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) March 30, 2023
