A matchup between Perry Thompson and Bryce Cain highlights this week’s matchups.

It is nearly time for another slate of high school football games and several Auburn commits have some exciting matchups.

The top game will be the showdown between wide receiver commits [autotag]Perry Thompson[/autotag] and [autotag]Bryce Cain[/autotag]. Cain and Baker are traveling to Foley with a 3-0 record and looking to keep their offense humming.

All but three of Auburn’s commits had games this week with only [autotag] DeAndre Cater[/autotag] (Mater Dei) and [autotag]Malcolm Simmons[/autotag] (Benjamin Russell) having byes. Cornerback commit [autotag]A’Mon Lane[/autotag] is set to miss some time after announcing on Thursday that he underwent surgery for a dislocated knee cap.

Two of Auburn’s commits suited up on Thursday instead of on Friday and went 1-1. [autotag]Kensley Fasutin[/autotag] and Naples suffered their first loss of the season, falling to 3-1. [autotag]Dimitry Nicolas[/autotag] and Norlan improved to 4-0 with a 42-7 win over Monsignor Pace. Stats for both games have not been released yet.
