With a late start after taking over for Mark Dantonio coupled with a global pandemic, it’s pretty amazing what Mel Tucker and his staff did with Michigan State Football’s 2021 recruiting class. That being said, 2022 is the year where we will start to get the most accurate picture of what Tucker can do on the recruiting trail.
Tucker comes into MSU known for his recruiting acumen so he should have all the tools at his disposal to put together a strong class. The one challenge here is that the Spartans have looked pretty dreadful on the field this year. The silver lining? Michigan and Penn State have looked just as terrible, and those are the two schools that seem to battle Michigan State most frequently for top Michigan high school prospects.
The 2022 class currently has 3 commits and has a national rank of No. 29 and a Big Ten rank of No. 7.
Below, we take a look at the players currently committed to MSU for 2022. We will continue to update this post as more players are added.
