Probably a majority of Arizona Cardinals fans would like to see the team select Ohio State receiver prospect Marvin Harrison Jr. with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. As such, everything about Harrison will draw te attention of those fans.
If fans were excited to hear what Harrison had to say at the NFL combine, they will be disappointed.
Scheduled to have his media session on Friday, Harrison skipped it completely.
This doesn’t mean he will not ultimately speak to the media later, but this is kind of in line with his plans for the combine. He is not participating in drills. He has not even practiced for traditional athletic testing drills that come in the predraft process for evaluation purposes.
He did get weighed and measured and is meeting with teams. He just did not speak to the media.
This won’t change what teams think of him as a prospect. At this point, he is a lock to be selected in the top five of the draft and some believe he is the best receiver prospect since Julio Jones and A.J. Green in 2011.
The only people missing out with this development are reporters, analysts and fans. They will miss out on content written and discussed as a result of what he would have said.
