There were rumors of Philadelphia potentially needing to trade up for Carter, but things worked out in the end, and the game-wrecking hybrid landed in the best possible spot.

Considered one of the top talents in the ’23 class, Carter was predicted to potentially fall in the draft due to concerns over off-the-field issues.
But the Eagles moved up and added a game-changer to their dominant defensive front, and he’ll have veterans like Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, and Josh Sweat to rely on.
