Wide receiver Xavier Weaver made quite the impact during his lone season with the Colorado Buffaloes.
The former South Florida transfer quickly became one of quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ favorite targets, leading the Buffs in receptions (68) and receiving yards (908). Against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 2, Weaver broke loose for a career-high 170 receiving yards and one touchdown.
In April, Weaver signed an undrafted free-agent contract with the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals. Pro Football Focus even labeled Weaver as the Cardinals’ top undrafted free agent to watch this upcoming season.
