Michigan football is still working to finish the 2025 recruiting class. While all eyes are on Belleville, Michigan, five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, there are other important targets out there.
Perhaps the biggest on the defensive side of the ball is 2025 Bradenton (Florida) IMG Academy four-star linebacker Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, whose brother played for Notre Dame.
The Irish, Wolverines, Texas, Colorado and Ohio State have been in contention for the elite linebacker. Owusu-Boateng has been on campus for unofficial visits to two games this season but will not shut down his recruiting process until the early signing period opens on Dec. 4.
However, one notable recruiting insider believes he end up choosing the Wolverines.
On Wednesday, 247Sports’ Tom Loy put in a prediction that Owusu-Boateng will choose Michigan football come December.
If he decides for Michigan, that would make three commits in 2025 from the illustrious IMG Academy. The Wolverines have pledges from four-star running back Donovan Johnson and three-star center Kaden Strayhorn, an MSU legacy.
