It was only a couple of weeks ago that we were digging through the archives of famous University of Washington alumni, trying to identify which celebrity ESPN might choose as the guest picker for their flagship ‘College GameDay’ show in Seattle.
We did a good job, correctly identifying the eventual picker Joel McHale, an actor, as one of the top candidates.
So this week, with the news that ‘GameDay’ will be heading to Salt Lake City to feature the matchup between No. 8 Oregon and No. 13 Utah, we are at it again. The last time ‘GameDay’ was in Salt Lake City, it was Frank Caliendo who was the guest picker. So after parsing through the notable alums at Utah and the most famous players to come out of the program, here’s our list of top candidates to be named the guest picker for Saturday’s pregame show:
