1. Minnesota Vikings
Kirkpatrick already has a relationship with Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, he was the Bengals defensive coordinator when they drafted Kirkpatrick in 2012.
Chris Schad of BringMetheNews.com believes that Kirkpatrick “fits the mold.” of what Zimmer wants in a cornerback.
“On paper, Kirkpatrick is a player that fits the mold of what Zimmer wants in a cornerback,” says Schad. “The 30-year-old stands at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, but his 4.51 second time in the 40-yard dash coming out of Alabama is a little slower than what they like to see (especially for a guy with eight years under his belt in the league).”
However, Schad fears that the contract might be too big for the Vikings to take on and that Kirkpatrick may not be able to outplay cornerbacks that are already on the roster.
