Kristian Dyer of Sports Illustrated has a strong opinion on why the Jets should go after Kirkpatrick.
“The New York Jets have a little under $25 million in cap room, according to OverTheCap.com and there are still quite a few free agents still out there,” says Dyer. “This is the first in a series of potential free agents the Jets could and should still target.”
Dyer continues on to explain that if Kirkpatrick can prove he is able to remain healthy, he may be able to prove his worth. Dyer also explains that the Jets would be a good place to “prove it.”
