With the exception of Prince Amukamara, the Raiders lack a proven cornerback. They added Damarious Randall in free agency, and drafted Trayvon Mullen in the second round of the 2019 draft, but it doesn’t seem to be enough to get the job done.
In 2019 the Raiders allowed 4,107 total passing yards, this led them to be the No. 25 ranked secondary in the league.
The addition of Kirkpatrick could not only help on the field, but also offer advice and leadership on the sidelines and in the locker room. The Alabama product can help the team in multiple ways.
Plus, if there’s one thing we’ve noticed from recent drafts, they like the players Nick Saban produces.
