He signed a one-year deal with the Texans in 2019, then another in 2020. They seem to like him, and he hasn’t publicly said he doesn’t want to play there.
He remains the backup to Deshaun Watson and gets paid. I don’t see a scenario in which he would leave if offered a contract by Houston, at least one that’s financially competitive to others he’ll receive.
