The Golden State Warriors suffered a loss at the hands of the LA Clippers on Saturday (Dec. 2.) Steve Kerr‘s team held a substantial lead throughout the first half but failed to keep pace after halftime. The Clippers upped their intensity and surged back into the game.
Three Warriors scored more than 20 points, and a further two were in double digits. Yet, Golden State’s inability to deal with offensive pressure and to keep its rhythm in the face of Los Angeles’ physicality allowed the Clippers to take control of the game. With the loss, the Warriors slipped to 11th in the Western Conference, giving them an uphill battle to prove they have a championship-caliber roster.
