Top 10 Big Ten receiving yardage leaders after Week 7

Nebraska and Purdue are home to the Big Ten’s top two receiving yardage leaders after Week 7.

Nebraska and Purdue took part in a bit of a shootout in Week 7, which saw the Boilermakers come away victorious. Purdue’s Charlie Jones was a big factor in the victory for the home team with two touchdown catches and 12 catches for 132 yards, but Nebraska’s leading receiver had a big game in the losing effort as well.

Palmer had 237 receiving yards on seven receptions with two touchdowns for the Huskers, which saw him end the week as the Big Ten’s leading receiving yardage leader. Unfortunately, that hasn’t translated to wins for Nebraska, but it is fun to see the Huskers with an explosive offense. Now if it can just figure out the defense.

Ohio State‘s top two receivers didn’t get a chance to add to their receiving yardage totals this week while Ohio State was on a bye week, but Emeka Egbuka and Marvin Harrison Jr. are still among the top receivers in the Big Ten despite the off week.

Here is a look at the updated top 10 leaderboard in the Big Ten for receiving yards this season through Week 7.
