The Colorado Buffaloes played well enough last week to flip the betting line in their favor after being more than a one-touchdown underdog against Nebraska.
While I believe that the Cornhuskers pose a more formidable threat than the Horned Frogs did in Week 1, I am a believer in Shedeur Sanders, Sean Lewis and the Buffaloes’ offense.
Colorado has not lost to the Cornhuskers in over 4,600 days and I’m confident that the Buffs can keep that streak going for at least another year.
READ:
The Cornhuskers are already reeling after losing another one-score game in Week 1 and they’ll now face one of the hottest offenses in the country. My prediction is that the Buffs will score early to force Nebraska into going pass-heavy. After that, the Buffs’ defense should feast on a Nebraska offense that scored only 10 points against Minnesota and has a QB in Jeff Sims who throws frequent interceptions.
Final score prediction: Deion Sanders’ Buffs win the home opener, 38-17.
