No. 2 Tennessee (7-2) defeated Charleston Southern (3-5), 6-1, Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Head coach Tony Vitello returned to the Vols’ dugout after serving a three-game suspension. He was suspended for a NCAA violation matter.
“We are pleased to announce that Coach Vitello has completed his three-game suspension,” Tennessee announced on Monday. “He will be back in the dugout leading our baseball team tomorrow.”
The Vols will host Charleston Southern on Wednesday (4 p.m. EST, SEC Network+) to complete a two-game series.
