Tony Vitello discusses calling into the Howard Stern Show to speak with Dolly Parton.

Tennessee native Dolly Parton announced she will be at the Vols’ game against Georgia on Saturday.

Kickoff between Tennessee and the Bulldogs is slated for 3:30 p.m. EST (CBS).

Tennessee baseball head coach Tony Vitello met with media on Thursday and discussed Parton attending Saturday’s game.

Vitello said he called into the “Howard Stern Show” when she was on.

“She was on the “Howard Stern Show” yesterday,” Vitello said. “I called into a radio show for the first time in my life to try and let her know how much she does for the state of Tennessee. I got rejected, so maybe I’ll get to say hello to her in person.

“The Kansas City Chiefs can have Taylor Swift all they want, we’ll take Dolly Parton on Saturday.”
