The Baltimore Ravens have needed to sign plenty of depth throughout the 2021 season. Injuries have taken a clear toll on the team, as they’ve been decimated at multiple different positions.
On Monday, the team announced that they had signed a familiar face to their practice squad in safety Tony Jefferson. He will add secondary depth to a team that badly needs it, as well as a veteran presence that will be good for younger players on the roster. After the news was announced on Twitter, Jefferson responded, relaying a simple yet meaningful message.
Missed my family 🦾🦾 https://t.co/aCLtyKaRoO

Jefferson is no stranger to Baltimore, as he spent three seasons with the Ravens from 2017-2019. He accumulated 174 total tackles in three seasons and showed a nose for stopping the run with his physical style of play. He was also loved in the locker room and by fans, so his signing is a happy reunion for all.
