Tony Adams heads to locker room with finger injury

Jets safety Tony Adams went to the locker room during the first quarter against the Bills with what appeared to be a finger injury. He is questionable to return.

Adrian Amos has replaced Adams for the time being at safety next to Jordan Whitehead.

The Jets can’t afford too many injuries in the defensive secondary. They’re already without nickel cornerback Michael Carter II and now are without one of their top safeties in Adams.

Whitehead, Amos, Ashtyn Davis and Jarrick Bernard-Converse are still available for the Jets.
