Tom Brady returns to Buccaneers to try and beat Cardinals for 1st time since 2004

The Cardinals have not lost to Brady since 2004.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady called it a career last month, announcing his retirement from the NFL. In doing so, he ended a career not having beaten the Cardinals since 2004.

On Sunday, that changed.

He announced via his Twitter account that he had rethought retiring and that he was returning to the Buccaneers for the 2022 season.

That will give Brady the opportunity to beat the Cardinals again. The Cardinals and Buccaneers will face one another in 2022. The Cardinals will be the home team.

The Buccaneers, with Brady’s return, immediately return to contending status in the NFC.

It will make the Cardinals’ 2022 schedule just a little tougher.
