Antonio Brown’s time with the New England Patriots lasted just one game, which was followed by his release amid a civil suit alleging sexual assault.
Brown responded to that release from the Patriots by mocking owner Robert Kraft’s solicitation arrest in a series of now-deleted tweets. But on Tuesday, the former Patriots receiver tweeted about Kraft again. This time, though, it was to apologize and thank the owner for an opportunity that ended two months ago (maybe the tweet was saved in his drafts?).
Either way, the tweet and Instagram apologies got the stamp of approval from Tom Brady … twice.
Mr.Kraft I apologize sincerely to you and your organization! All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization; sorry for the bad media and the drama ! Thank you sincerely AB pic.twitter.com/oWJCwkrpjk

Brown posted the same apology message on both his Twitter and Instagram accounts, and fans quickly noticed that Brady liked the message on both platforms.
Not that it’s surprising, but Tom Brady is among several Patriots to like Antonio Brown’s apology on Instagram pic.twitter.com/g7TIq63CSY

Patriots players like Julian Edelman, Brandon Bolden and Phillip Dorsett — to name a few — also joined Brady in liking the Instagram post. And given the timing of the apology — a few days after an eight-hour meeting with the league — it was easy to read the tweet as an attempt to curry favor with Kraft and rejoin the Patriots.
Then again, it’s tough to read too much into anything that happens on Brown’s social media feeds.
