Tom Brady ‘feeling really positive’ for Week 14 and laughs off injuries

Tom Brady didn’t seem worried about his injury.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady cracked up after a question about the team’s injury report.

Brady was limited on Thursday with a toe an elbow issue. He was downgraded from full participation on Wednesday. It’s the third consecutive week that Brady has been limited in one of the Patriots’ three practices. But the toe injury is new. So when Brady checked in on Westwood One for his weekly interview, he fielded questions about the new malady.

“Isn’t there some HIPAA violation or something like that when I start talking about all of my injuries?” Brady joked with Westwood One’s Jim Gray, as transcribed by NESN. “I’m doing pretty good. I’m doing pretty good. At this time of the year, I’ll take it. I’ll take anything if I’m still able to go out there and feel like I can play my best. I’m feeling really good, really positive about this weekend.”

Brady has struggled in recent weeks, with the Patriots offense struggling to put up points. New England has suffered two losses against the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, which has cast doubt on their legitimacy as one of the AFC’s top teams. A win over the Kansas City Chiefs could reassert the Patriots’ good standing and root out the skepticism.
