Tampa Bay Buccaneers HC [autotag]Todd Bowles[/autotag] made his stance clear when it comes to mandatory minicamp.

Bowles was asked on Tuesday after the first day of Week 3 OTAs about mandatory minicamp, and he assured media that he’s looking forward to every Bucs player reporting when it kicks off on June 13.

“It’s mandatory,” Bowles said. “I expect everybody to be here.”

Bowles told reporters that he expects injured players to still show up, even if they aren’t participating. But he was also asked about LB Devin White, who is currently in a contract dispute with the Bucs, and he repeated his answer to the original question affirming that he expects all players to come to camp.

White didn’t show up to OTAs (or at least hasn’t yet, with two days left to do so), but that doesn’t necessarily mean he intends to skip out on mandatory minicamp. If he does, though, he could be fined by the team for not showing up. Whether or not a team fines a player for an unexcused absence is up to them.

It’s currently unknown if White plans to attend minicamp or not, but Bowles certainly seems to be expecting him when they day rolls around.
