Not only has the global coronavirus pandemic affected the NBA in a huge way, but it has also affected life in general. Schools have been closed since roughly the middle of March and that has caused teachers to teach online lessons rather than in-person instruction. That is a big adjustment for everybody involved.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris had a message to the teachers across the city for stepping up and helping their students during this tough time. He cited the importance of teachers in his life and how important it is to keep the focus of the students and have them locked in despite what is going on in the world right now.
Once again a big s/o to all the Philadelphia educators. I appreciate you! And I know every parent at home appreciates you more than ever right now 😅🙏🏽🙌🏽 https://t.co/KX2o1vuwfp

While most K-12 schools are done for the academic year, they should be able to get back in the in-person environment in September for the 2020-21 academic year. In the meantime, the NBA itself is trying to resume its 2019-20 season and hope to have training camps by early June. [lawrence-related id=30661,30655,30647]
