Tobias Harris, Rhys Hoskins join Ben Simmons in taking ‘Philly Pledge’

Tobias Harris and Rhys Hoskins are among the Philadelphia athletes taking the Philly Pledge.

The world is currently in a tough spot right now due to the outbreak of COVID-19 that has everybody sitting inside their house in self-quarantine to make sure they keep themselves safe. It is during this time that big names are doing their part in trying to help the world as best they can.

Philadelphia 76ers star point guard Ben Simmons started that with something called “The Philly Pledge” as he tries to spread the word about organizations that can help people during this time and to really promote staying indoors. He now has the backings of two other Philadelphia athletes.

One of them is teammate Tobias Harris who is stepping up and also taking the Philly Pledge to help find nonprofit organizations in this time of need.

On top of that, Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins is also joining Simmons in taking the pledge.

This has triggered a chain reaction of other prominent Philadelphia athletes who are all stepping up and taking the pledge. Other athletes have since joined such as Jalen Mills and Zach Ertz of the Philadelphia Eagles, Andrew Knapp of the Phillies, and Clause Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Now is the time to help others. That is the Philly Pledge and that is the Philly way. [lawrence-related id=28443,28427,28424]
