Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris threw teammate Matisse Thybulle under the bus on Thursday when he revealed the rookie is often late to the pre-game huddle in the tunnel.
The official Twitter account of the Sixers posted a photo in which Harris is seen giving a puzzled look at Thybulle. Harris posted a quick explanation video detailing how Thybulle is often late to those huddles, something that basically happens without fail.
This right here is literally me every game. We’re supposed to be out in the tunnel with like 19 on the clock. [We] say a prayer and then run out onto the court. I always tell Matisse at like 25 minutes, ‘Get your stuff on. Get ready.’ He always says, ‘Oh, I have plenty of time.’
Sure and behold, 19 on the clock, even maybe less than that, he comes running out, he doesn’t have his sweatpants on. He doesn’t have his sneakers tied up and it’s either me or always Mike [Scott] telling him, ‘Next time, we’re just going to leave you!’ We’ve let it go on too much this year but that’s me, in a nutshell, telling him, ‘Come on, bro. You can’t keep doing this!’

Of course, the two players have become good friends this season.
Thybulle looks to Harris as an older brother as he has often leaned on him for advice throughout the season. Harris has also been on the record as saying he is a big fan of Thybulle given his work ethic and open-mindedness.
Despite that, though, Thybulle probably still needs to get out into the tunnel earlier.
