No one wishes injury, but via one the Buffalo Bills got some good news ahead of the 2022 NFL season and their matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
In Week 2, Buffalo will host Tennessee in their home opener. It will be a Monday Night Football contest at Highmark Stadium.
One Titans player that will not be on the field is linebacker Harold Landry.
Just prior to the end of the summer, Landry suffered a season-ending injury. He tore his ACL and his 2022 was done before it began.
While no one wishes injury, Landry not playing in Buffalo is good news for the Bills.
Not only did Landry lead Tennessee with a career-high 12 sacks last year, he has been a menace against the Bills.
As a team, the Titans have been a thorn in Buffalo’s side for years even with the team’s emergence as a contender.
Specifically against the Bills, Landry has four sacks in four career games against Buffalo.
Not having him in the fold will be good for the Bills, but we send him our best wishes in his recovery.
