Titans waive Cody Hollister, make change to practice squad

The Titans made a few moves on Tuesday, and one of them could signal that another signing is coming.

The Tennessee Titans made a few moves on Tuesday, one of which included waiving wide receiver Cody Hollister, who made the team’s initial 53-man roster out of training camp.

Additionally, the Titans replaced outside linebacker Jamal Davis on the practice squad with fellow outside linebacker, Tuzar Skipper.

Skipper entered the league as an undrafted free agent signing of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019, but was cut prior to the season. He then latched on with the New York Giants, where he played in six games last season.

The move to waive Hollister is an interesting one. The Titans now only have four wide receivers on their active roster, so it has to make you wonder if Tennessee is planning on adding another wideout at some point.

After winning their Week 1 contest over the Denver Broncos on Monday night, the Titans will take the field for their home-opener on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
