Titans vs. Bengals Divisional Round injury report: Tuesday

A look at the first injury report of the week for the Titans and Bengals.

The Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals released their first injury report of the week ahead of their divisional-round showdown at Nissan Stadium on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel revealed the team would be practicing in pads and that Derrick Henry would start taking contact. Vrabel also noted that Henry has responded “pretty well” to the work he has seen thus far.

“Today, I think that’s a good step,” Vrabel said. “We’ll have to have some contact; it’s been awhile since he’s (Henry) had contact. We’re going to have to do these things that come close to replicating what’s going to be asked of him in a football game. So, we’ll have a week of work, we’ll see how he feels and make a decision.”

Henry is not listed on the injury report because he has yet to be activated to the 53-man roster. We expect that to happen any day now.

While all eyes are on Henry in Nashville, the player to watch in Cincinnati is defensive end Trey Hendrickson, whose status is up in the air after he suffered a concussion against the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, things appear to be trending in the right direction for Hendrickson, as he was on the practice field for Cincy on Tuesday. That’s big news for the Bengals, as Hendrickson was their sack leader with 14 this season.

Now, a look at the full injury report for both teams on the Tuesday ahead of their playoff matchup.
