Titans’ updated depth chart ahead of preseason Week 3

There aren’t any significant changes from the last version of the Titans’ depth chart.

With two preseason games now in the books, the Tennessee Titans have released an updated version of their depth chart ahead of the preseason Week 3 matchup with the Chicago Bears on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee had its second cutdown day on Tuesday where they trimmed the roster down to 80 players. Final cutdowns will happen on Aug. 31, when the Titans will shave their roster down to the final 53.

Here’s what the latest version of the Titans’ depth chart looks like.

Note: A position’s pecking order goes from left to right, and then down and back across from left to right again if a position has more than four players.

What’s new?

There aren’t any significant changes here. Rookies remain at the bottom at most positions, and some players received a bump up because of recent cuts, or players being placed on Injured Reserve, etc.

This version was released before the Titans claimed defensive lineman Freedom Akinmoladun, so he isn’t listed here, nor is he listed on the team’s official website.

One player breaking the mold is rookie safety Brady Breeze, who is actually listed ahead of a veteran player. Perhaps that is just an oversight on the Titans’ part. Breeze has not practiced in quite some time due to injury.
