Titans sign DL Ross Blacklock to practice squad

The Titans made an addition to their practice squad on Wednesday, signing DL Ross Blacklock.

The Tennessee Titans made an addition to their practice squad on Wednesday, with the team announcing the signing of defensive lineman Ross Blacklock.

Tennessee inking the former second-round pick comes on the heel of his workout with the team last week. He takes the practice squad spot of fellow defensive lineman TK McLendon Jr., who was promoted prior to Week 10.

Blacklock spent two years with the Houston Texans before being traded to the Minnesota Vikings, where he spent all of 2022. He’s appeared in just one game in 2023, which came with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Since then, Blacklock has had a cup of coffee on the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad. After signing with the Titans, the TCU product will now have spent time with every AFC South squad.

The 25-year-old has tallied three sacks, nine QB hits, 38 tackles (five for loss), two passes defensed and a forced fumble over 41 career games in the NFL.
