Titans reveal initial 53-man roster for 2023 season

The Titans have revealed their initial 53-man roster for the 2023 season.

UPDATE: The Tennessee Titans have since made some changes to their initial 53-man roster and practice squad. You can check those out right here.

The Tennessee Titans have whittled down their offseason roster to just 53 players ahead of the cutdown day deadline on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.

Of course, this is just the initial 53-man roster, as the Titans will be making more moves ahead of the start of the season, and throughout the 2023 campaign.

Now, the Titans will also turn their attention to putting together the practice squad over the coming days, which will consist of mostly players Tennessee has cut. However, many will have to pass through waivers first before they can be brought back.

For players with less than four years of NFL service, they’ll go on waivers, where they can be claimed on Wednesday at noon ET. Players with four or more years of service immediately become free agents upon being cut.

As far as the Titans’ initial 53-man roster goes, you won’t find right tackle  Nicholas Petit-Frere or cornerback Caleb Farley. Neither counts toward the 53-man limit, as NPF is suspended the first six games and Farley is starting 2023 on the PUP list and will miss four games.

Without further ado, the Titans’ initial 53-man roster.
