Titans’ reasons for optimism and concern in Week 12 vs. Pats

Ryan Tannehill is coming off a four-interception game; can he rebound against a tough Pats defense?

The Tennessee Titans enter the Week 12 contest against the New England Patriots with a lot to be concerned about.

The team continues to deal with a slew of injuries on both sides of the ball, and after a putrid showing in Week 11 against the lowly Houston Texans, it appears those injuries are starting to catch up to Tennessee.

The Titans have fielded a total of 82 players this season, which is two shy of the record set by the 2020 San Francisco 49ers and 2019 Miami Dolphins.

After 13 roster moves in one day earlier this week, the Titans are set to destroy that mark.

Meanwhile, the Pats have every reason for optimism this week. New England is red hot having won five in a row, and they are walking into a matchup versus a Titans team that is beat up and coming off a loss.

As bad as things seem for the Titans, there are a few reasons for optimism in Week 12. Let’s see what those are, along with the concerns.
