Titans power rankings round-up, Week 7: Tennessee moving up after epic win

The Titans are almost universally moving up, with the exception of the power rankings from one expert.

Before even looking at the NFL power rankings from different experts, we can assume that the Tennessee Titans will be moving up after their incredible Week 6 victory over the Buffalo Bills on “Monday Night Football.”

But let’s confirm, shall we?

We start with USA TODAY’s Nate Davis, who has the Titans moving up four spots to No. 7. He writes:

7. Titans (11): The latest bullet point for RB Derrick Henry’s MVP résumé? He personally hung 18 points Monday night on a Buffalo defense that entered the game allowing a league-low 12.8 per game and hadn’t let a back into the end zone.

As we stated in our biggest takeaways article, Henry should be considered one of the front-runners for MVP.

Just think about it: the Titans’ passing attack has struggled, and outside of a few bright spots over the first six weeks, so has the defense. Henry has literally carried Tennessee to its 4-2 record.

But I digress — now, on to the rest of our power rankings round-up.
