Titans place WR Dez Fitzpatrick on Reserve/COVID-19 list

Fitzpatrick is the second Titans player to hit the COVID-19 list this week.

The Tennessee Titans announced they have placed 2021 fourth-round pick and wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Fitzpatrick is the second Titans player to be placed on the list this week after practice squad safety Jamal Carter was moved to the COVID-19 list from Injured Reserve on Monday.

A player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list has either tested positive for the virus or come in close contact with someone who has.

The NFL is currently experiencing a rash of positive tests, with over 60 players having been placed on the COVID-19 list in the past few days alone.

Fitzpatrick, who failed to make the initial 53-man roster out of training camp but was promoted from the practice squad last month, has appeared in three games for the Titans this season, totaling five catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. He was a healthy scratch in Week 14.

The Titans will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field in Week 15.
