The Tennessee Titans made a plethora of roster moves prior to their AFC South showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14 on Sunday.
Undoubtedly the most impactful of the transactions was Tennessee placing starting linebacker David Long Jr. on the injured reserve list with a hamstring injury.
The West Virginia product will now miss at least the next four games, which means he won’t be eligible to return until Week 18, but that also allows him to return for the Titans’ playoff run as long as the team doesn’t choke that away over the next month.
With Long on injured reserve, now both of the Titans’ starting linebackers are on the list after Zach Cunningham was placed on it last month.
Aside from that move, the Titans promoted three players to their 53-man roster, activated two players off injured reserve, parted ways with two other players, and elevated a pair of from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
Those moves are as follows:
