Titans’ Mike Vrabel gives update on Adoree’ Jackson, Isaiah Wilson

Adoree’ Jackson did not participate in practice on Friday after taking part in the last five.

Tennessee Titans cornerback Adoree’ Jackson is still on the comeback trail from a knee injury that has kept him out the entire season thus far.

After practicing all three days last week following his being designated to return from IR, Jackson practiced on Wednesday and Thursday this week, but did not practice on Friday and has yet to be activated.

Meanwhile, Titans 2020 first-round pick, Isaiah Wilson, got in his first full week of practice and appears to be making at least some progress.

Vrabel explained that Jackson being held out of practice was a decision made by the coaches and trainers, but didn’t say specifically if it was just a rest day or if Jackson had a setback.

With this latest development, it would seem unlikely that Jackson will be activated in time to play on Sunday. The Titans look like they’ll have to weather the storm for one more week.

As for Wilson, Vrabel notes that he is making progress, but still needs to improve in certain areas.

The Titans recently promoted swing tackle David Quessenberry to the 53-man roster, so chances are Wilson will be inactive once again in Week 8. Still, it’s good to see he’s at least back on track after several missteps.
