Titans met with Syracuse DB Isaiah Johnson at pro day

The Titans met with DB Isaiah Johnson at the Syracuse Pro Day last month.

We can add another 2024 NFL draft prospect to the list of players the Tennessee Titans have met with ahead of this month’s event.

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Titans met with Syracuse defensive back Isaiah Johnson at the program’s pro day last month.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound defensive back was a team captain at Syracuse and offers versatility, as he could play either cornerback or safety at the next level, which is a good fit for defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson, who wants flexibility out of his defensive backs.

Over his last two collegiate seasons, Johnson tallied 115 tackles, nine passes defensed and two interceptions in 25 contests.

The Titans have done a fantastic job shoring up the top of their depth chart at the cornerback position, with the additions of L’Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie, both of whom join slot corner Roger McCreary.

However, Tennessee could use more depth at the position, and they also have question marks at safety, both in terms of a starting spot and depth.

The best-case scenario for Johnson is being drafted later on Day 3, but he may also be available as an undrafted free agent, where he’d be sure to garner some interest.
