Regardless of where you’re physically located, if you close your eyes and listen closely, you can probably hear the collective sigh of relief from Tennessee Titans players, coaches, and fans all across the world after we finally got an update on wide receiver Treylon Burks’ injury.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Burks reportedly suffered a sprained LCL and is only expected to miss a few weeks.
This is an incredibly positive development given the scary news out of joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday, as many who were there described the injury as one that didn’t look good.
Burks was rightfully emotional after the injury, as he worked incredibly hard throughout the entire offseason to put himself in a position to perform well in 2023. Thankfully, Burks’ injury doesn’t appear to be long term and he should be back on the field sooner rather than later.
