Yet another Tennessee Titans coach is set to interview for a vacancy with another team.
According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, the New York Giants have been granted permission to interview tight ends coach Tony Dews for their vacant running backs coach position.
Prior to serving as tight ends coach in 2023, Dews served as the Titans’ running backs coach from 2018-22.
During that time, Titans running back Derrick Henry developed into one of the best players at his position and the team routinely sported one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL.
Prior to his stint in Nashville, Dews had two decades of collegiate coaching experience, working with defensive and offensive lines, tight ends, wide receivers, linebackers and special teams units.

Dews is the third Titans coach we know of to garner at least one interview, and the second to get a look from the Giants.
Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen got a look from the Giants for their vacant defensive coordinator job, and both Bowen and cornerbacks coach Chris Harris are candidates for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ DC job.
