The Tennessee Titans have been looking for a spark in their passing game all season long, and rookie tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo provided one in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the first quarter and with the Titans trailing Kansas City 3-0, rookie quarterback Malik Willis dumped it off to the rookie tight end on a screen on the first play of the game.

Okonkwo reeled it in and proceeded to run through a bunch of Chiefs defenders en route to a 48-yard gain, which is the longest of Okonkwo’s young career. Check out the Maryland product’s awesome play below.

Unfortunately, the Titans weren’t able to capitalize on the big gain, with the drive stalling out just a handful of plays later.

However, what the play did do was reinforce the fact that Okonkwo is a talented playmaker who should be more involved in the offense, especially with Tennessee struggling to move the ball through the air.
