Titans’ catch a break: NFL suspends Bills’ Von Miller for four games

The Tennessee Titans received some good news when the NFL suspended Bills edge Von Miller for four games keeping him out of their match-up.

The Tennessee Titans are on their bye week, but have already received some encouraging news that will impact their upcoming schedule.

While the team is optimistic that both DT Jeffery Simmons and QB Will Levis could return from injury, they learned today that they will not be facing one of the top pass rushers in the game when they take on the Buffalo Bills in their October 20 matchup.

On Tuesday, the NFL suspended Bills edge rusher Von Miller for four games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Miller, 35, may not be the same player he was before tearing his ACL in 2022 but he has already shown an uptick in production this season after a subpar 2023 by recording sacks in the Bills’ first three games.

That’s good news for an offense that has struggled with allowing pressure in 2024. Yes, they were better against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night, but it is likely Levis will be at that helm, and that changes the pressure dynamic. Backup Mason Rudolph looked like a veteran and was not overwhelmed by the pressure generated, something Levis has not mastered to this point.
