Titans announce Juwan Green signing among two roster moves

The Titans made a pair of roster moves on Wednesday.

The Tennessee Titans made their reported signing of wide receiver Juwan Green official on Wednesday. In order to make room for Green, the Titans waived tight end Ryan Izzo.

A former undrafted free agent signing of the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, Green was brought in for a workout recently that apparently went well. However, his best bet at sticking in Nashville is through the practice squad.

The Albany product spent time on the practice squads of both Atlanta and the Detroit Lions in 2021. More recently, he went through a tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles during their 2022 rookie minicamp.

Green, who has never played a regular season snap, played his college ball at Albany, where he finished with 106 receptions for 1,815 yards and 21 touchdowns in 23 games over two seasons.

A former seventh-round pick of the New England Patriots in 2018, Izzo was signed by the Titans in January off the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad.
