The Tennessee Titans reunited with a familiar face on Monday afternoon after agreeing to terms with linebacker and special teams ace, Nick Dzubnar.
Dzubnar was a free-agent signing of the Titans in 2020 and appeared in all 16 games for Tennessee, playing predominantly on special teams. He also chipped in with 13 snaps on defense throughout the season.
The 30-year-old Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo product tallied 13 special teams stops, leading the team. Prior to his stint with the Titans, Dzubnar spent five seasons with the Chargers.
The addition of Dzubnar comes in the wake of linebacker B.J. Bello suffering an injury during the preseason opener on Friday against the Atlanta Falcons, which resulted in him being placed on Injured Reserve.
Dzubnar will now battle for a spot on the 53-man roster, competing against fellow linebackers Jan Johnson and Justin March-Lillard.
Tennessee made seven other roster moves on Monday, including the additions of safeties Clayton Geathers and Bradley McDougald.
