Titans add MyCole Pruitt, Breon Borders to COVID-19 list; Tommy Hudson suspended

The Titans now have a total of 14 players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

As the Tennessee Titans continue to deal with an outbreak of COVID-19, the team announced the addition of two more players to the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday, bringing the total number of players on it to 14.

The two newest additions are tight end MyCole Pruitt and practice squad defensive back Breon Borders.

The team also announced that practice squad tight end Tommy Hudson has been suspended six games for violating the NFL’s Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances. He is currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Of the 14 players currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, 13 of them have been added since September 24. Of those 13, 12 have been added to the list since September 29.

And, since September 24, a grand total of 23 people within the organization have tested positive for the virus, including 13 players and 10 personnel members.

If the Titans want to have any hope of playing their Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills, they’re going to need these positive tests to stop coming in starting on Friday after there was another case reported on Thursday.

If that doesn’t happen, the Titans could be looking at a rescheduling of the game to a later date, or quite possibly a forfeit in the worst-case scenario.
