Titans add Jacques Patrick to practice squad, release Jordan Roos

The Tennessee Titans have made a pair of moves on their practice squad on Thursday.

The team announced it has officially added running back Jacques Patrick, which was reported earlier in the day. In a corresponding move, Tennessee released guard Jordan Roos.

Patrick was with the Titans during the offseason, appearing in two games during the preseason. Patrick, who is the only running back on the Titans’ practice squad, tallied 23 carries for 105 yards in the two contests before ultimately being let go on cutdown day.

Roos was thought to have a good shot to make the 53-man roster but was among the team’s final cuts before being brought back on the practice squad. With his departure, the Titans have three offensive lineman left in the group, with Justin Murray, John Ojukwu and Andrew Rupcich.

The corresponding move to let Roos was go was unexpected, as the Titans are allowed to have 17 players on the practice squad thanks to the exemption for tight end Thomas Odukoya, but the release of Roos leaves them with 16.
