[autotag]Hill Motorsports[/autotag] announced on Friday morning that [autotag]Timmy Hill[/autotag] will drive the No. 56 truck full-time starting in 2024. Hill previously ran full-time with Hill Motorsports during the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series season, finishing 20th in the point standings. In 2023, Hill and his brother Tyler Hill split the No. 56 truck.
Over the last nine years, Hill has had one top-5 finish and eight top-10 finishes in 89 Truck Series starts. The 33-year-old driver also has two top-5 finishes and seven top-10 finishes in 243 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts over the last 13 years. Finally, Hill has zero top-10 finishes in 141 NASCAR Cup Series starts over the last 11 years.

This is a great decision by Hill Motorsports as it allows for the best results overall. Hill’s consistent presence in the No. 56 truck should help improve the organization’s performance. For Hill himself, it is another chance to show that he is a great driver for lower to mid-tier teams, as it could possibly lead to more opportunities.
