Tim Settle was not on the field for the sixth day of Buffalo Bills 2023 training camp at St. John Fisher University.
The defensive tackle is the first notable player to miss a training camp practice due to injury, discounting those who began the summer on the PUP list such as Von Miller. None of the players who began training camp on the PUP list have been activated.
Settle, 26, left the practice field on Monday, Buffalo’s first session with full pads and hitting. Settle later returned but ended up sitting out Tuesday’s session.
The Bills have a day off scheduled for Wednesday. Considering that and Settle returning to the field when originally hurt, it reads as a precautionary measure.
Settle also was not walking with any sort of limp on the sideline while he watched practice. Here is a Batavia Daily News clip showing Settle on Tuesday at St. John Fisher University:

In addition to Settle, the team announced that safety Jordan Poyer was given a veteran rest day.
