Tigers of the Game: Aden Holloway shines in debut

Despite the loss, Aden Holloway made a statement in his first game as an Auburn Tiger.

The Auburn Tigers kicked off their season on Tuesday night by facing a challening opponent in No. 17 Baylor.

The game resulted in a tough loss, but there were several key performances that should not be overshadowed. First, lets take a look at how freshman Aden Holloway performed in his first college game.

Holloway, a five-star point guard from the 2023 high school signing class, made a statement by dropping 19 points and six assists, which were team leads. Veteran Johni Broome was next in line by scoring 16 points. Broome’s day will be highlighted by his 10th double-double of his Auburn career. In addition to his 16 points, he pulled down 11 rebounds in the loss.
