Tigers move up one spot in AP Top 25 after Week 6 win over Missouri

The Tigers moved up slightly in both polls this week.

LSU got back in the win column on Saturday on the road against Missouri, though it did struggle a bit defensively once again.

The Tigers won a 49-39 shootout over previously ranked and unbeaten Mizzou, and as a result, they’ve seen slight bumps in both polls this week. LSU rose three spots to No. 20 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, but it hasn’t seen as big a bump in the AP Top 25 this week.

After Week 6, the Tigers moved up one spot in the AP poll and now sit at No. 22 while they knocked Missouri out of the top 25 with the loss.

LSU will look to keep its win streak going next weekend when it returns home after back-to-back road games when it hosts Auburn for a night game in Death Valley.
